The Gumotex Scout is an inflatable Canadian style open canoe that will carry one, two or even three paddlers. Great for family touring on flat water lakes, canals and other inland waterways. For those who like an adrenaline rush, then the Scout is also great fun in lower-grade white water.

The Gumotex Scout is a very durable thanks to the tough Nitrilon construction. It has a very stable hull making the Scout very forgiving to paddle - great for first time paddlers! The three rigid seats provide extra structure to the Scout and will allow for up to 3 paddlers, with space for luggage. Great fun for all the family and with a high maximum weight capacity of 450kg it will comfortably take enough gear for multi-day camping adventures and paddles just fine unloaded too. The rigid seats, combined with the tough construction, of the Scout give it a very stiff shape once inflated, which in turn gives it excellent paddling qualities.

Both the Eco+ and Standard builds are constructed from same heavy duty Nitrilon material and have identical dimensions with 3 wooden slate seats, front & rear carry handles and painter lines. The Scout standard benefits from additional features that are not included in the Eco+ model - see the specifications below.

The Scout Eco+ will likely suit the needs of most recreational and family paddlers that plan on using the Scout on placid or gentle moving water. Those planning on more adventurous pursuits in rougher white water would benefit from the additional features of the Scout Standard.
