The Old Town Discovery 133 has been designed to offer ultimate flexibility on the water with who and how the canoe can be paddled. With comfortable bow and stern seats, the Discovery 133 can be paddled traditionally as a canoe, with singled bladed canoe paddles. A large, comfortable centre seat offers the option to bring along a 3rd passenger with ease, making this a great family canoe. The centre seat is wide enough for two children to sit side by side. Oar locks can be fitted to allow the Discovery 133 to be rowed from the centre seating position (pre-drilled oar lock positions, oar locks sold separately).

With the addition of a standard wooden motor mount, the Old Town Discovery 133 also makes an ideal platform to be used with a small outboard motor. This makes the Discovery 133 great for trips up river, with its wide beam offering exceptional stability. A great canoe for fishing, photography, bird-watching, or days out bringing the family along for the ride.

Along with great stability, the Discovery 133's defined keel line also helps the canoe to track straight, making it easy to maintain a bearing.
