The Old Town Discovery Sport 15 canoe is an extremely versatile canoe for outdoor enthusiasts wanting a stable canoe for fishing, nature watching,  photography and general recreational fun on the water. It can be paddled, rowed or motored.

The generous width combined with full length stabilising chines provides a dry and confident paddling experience on sheltered waters including estuaries, slow rivers, canals, lakes and lochs. With a carrying capacity of 800lbs, there is plenty of space for a family and the dog - the wide centre seat can accommodate  kids/small adults side by side. The Sport 15 can be rowed from the centre seating position or paddled from any of the seats.

For maximum strength and durability, the Sport 15 is constructed using a triple layer polyethylene material (Inner and outer layer with a foam core - for rigidity). This material is the strongest on the market and will provide years of low maintenance use.

Please note, due to the size and construction this is not a "lightweight canoe" that can be easily car topped solo but it is a brilliant canoe for what it's designed for.
