Recreational open canoes

The Old Town Saranac is a canoe designed for recreational use on flat water, calm rivers, estuaries, lakes, canals and lochs.

Both of the models in the Saranac range are stable making them perfect for family canoeing trips. The Saranac features two comfortable seats along with back rests, centre bench seat as well as bow and stern carry handles to make carrying easier. The bench seat includes a covered storage compartment to store your essentials while out on the water. Both of the Saranac models can be transported easily on a standard car roof rack.

The Saranac is made from a single layer construction which costs less to produce than Polylink and Royalex alternatives making it outstanding value for a canoe of this quality.

There are two different sizes available: 160 measuring at 16ft and the 146 measuring at 14ft 6". The 146 has 340kg of capacity which should be more than enough room for mum, dad and the kids. The 160 Saranac has a higher weight capacity at 385kg.
