The Cruiser 12’8” is a new development in Swift's lightweight Pack Boat range. Designed by David Yost  to combine classic recreational kayak features along with racing inspired sleekness this is an ideal choice for high efficiency paddlers. Gunnel curvature around the cockpit allows unrestricted paddling motion for optimized efficiency. 

Outfitted with the super comfortable Swift Canoes Pack Seat which is constructed using medical grade foam on all the areas that have padding. The firm backrest offers great lumbar support and can be folded flat when transporting. The lumbar support cushion is moveable and can be removed if needed. The kayak foot rests are adjustable so no matter your leg length you'll be comfortable and will get the best drive out of the paddle.

Kevlar Fusion is Swift's most popular laminate material; this offers the best strength to weight ratio of any laminate and results in an ultra lightweight construction. The high pressure infusion process produces the optimal dispersion of resin leading to an even distribution of resin and a build which is both tough and super-light. The hull and gunwales are infused as one part by creating a bond between the hull and trim. This provides a super lightweight, stunning and maintenance free build.

There is substantial interior volume fore and aft to stow enough gear for overnight trips, the optimal load capacity is 99kg and it can take up to150kg if needed. Remarkably quick for its size the Cruiser 12’8” is ideal for fast day tripping and will pack your wilderness adventures full of efficiency and fun and at 10.9kg portaging is about as easy as it gets!
