 The Venture Prospector 165 is based on a traditional design that works well for gentle day trips and excels on wilderness expeditions and whitewater. In the Corelite build with the durable Cruiser outfitting this model is a very popular choice for canoing enthusiasts and outdoor centres across the globe.

The wide beam, classic symmetrical hull and soft tumblehome mean the Venture Prospector is easy to paddle solo or tandem. It is stable on the flat and feels very controlled when you need to roll on to edge for manoeuvres.  The recurved bow and high freeboard keep you dry through features and prevent swamping.

The historic Prospector designs that this model is based upon were dependable workhorses. The Venture Prospector 165, with its 400kg load capacity, shares their ability to maintain supreme edging performance for pleasingly smooth turns on both moving and flat water, even when fully loaded.
