Bixpy K-1 Motor Ready Rudder System with 10mm pin

The Bixpy Versa Rudder™ with Steering is specifically designed to accept the Bixpy K-1 Motor. It is made from anodized aluminium and glass-filled nylon and ideal for marine or freshwater paddling. The lower end of the rudder blade has a 'tail' to increase turning efficiency. The Versa Rudder™ also offers the V-ARM™ for your rudder lines to attach to or you can connect a pole steering system if you prefer. If you do not have existing steering lines on your kayak the Pole Steering set up with extendable handle will work with most sit on kayaks.

The up/downhaul wheels have a lovely action making it easy to raise or lower the rudder and a quick-release pin provides for easy rudder removal. The robust double hinged, 90° Slide & Stow mechanism lifts the rudder completely out of the water when not in use, check out the photo of it on a Hobie Lynx to see this in the stowed position.

The Versa Rudder™ has a 10mm stainless steel pin that will fit most rudder ready kayaks such as Viking Kayaks, Vibe Kayaks, Perception Kayaks, Feelfree Kayaks, Ocean Kayaks, Wilderness Systems Kayaks, and more!  Bixpy's gravity driven locking mechanism allows the rudder to lock into place when motorized in forward or reverse.

Fitting a Bixpy K-1 Motor to your rudder ready kayak with the Universal Versa Rudder Adaptor couldn't be easier. Simply attach the Versa Rudder in place of the stock kayak rudder that utilizes a 10mm rudder pin. Attach your rudder control lines with the V-Arm Steering included, and your kayak is now motorised!
