Waterproof Cable Glands For Fish Finder Cables

If you need to run your fish finder cables to the inside of your kayak, these waterproof cable glands from Scanstrut are a great option. Perfect for when you want to keep your battery inside the hull, or have your transducer installed inside the kayak, and need to pass the wires back through the hull to the main unit on the deck. Also popular for use on boats when running cables through a console or cabin bulkhead.

The tough plastic construction with stainless hardware makes this great for use in freshwater and saltwater, and installation is very easy with full instructions provided. The domed housing is designed to clamp the rubber seal tightly around cables for a waterproof installation. All cable seals are supplied with a number of pre-drilled rubber inserts ready to accept various cable diameters. If your cable does not fall within the sizes pre-drilled, don't worry, as all kits are supplied with a blank rubber insert that you can drill to size to fit your cables.

4 sizes are available:

• DS6-P: For bare end cables 2-6mm in diameter - good for running fish finder power cable with bare ends inside the hull
  
• DS16-P: For cables 2-8mm in diameter and connectors up to 16mm. Suitable for when you need to run a power cable with bare wires ends or crimped on spade-end terminal connectors through the hull.
  
• DS21-P: For cables 4-9mm in diameter and connectors up to 21mm. Great for transducer cables providing the end connector is less than 21mm in diameter.
• DS30-P: For cables 9-14mm in diameter and connectors up to 30mm. This is the best option if you need to pass both a transducer cable and power cable through the seal when installing a transducer inside the hull of a kayak.
