Canoe & Kayak Clubs
UK Kayak & Clubs & Organisations
Joining a local canoe & kayak club is one of the best ways to enjoy paddle-sport with a huge wealth of experience and knowledge available from volunteer coaches as well as meeting like minded paddlers. Checkout the list of clubs below:
Port of Plymouth Canoeing Association
Our local club and where many of us learnt to paddle.
Established in 1972 the Port of Plymouth Canoeing Association (PPCA) is a friendly and active canoe and kayak club who train and paddle all year round. Perfectly based at the Mount Batten Centre in Plymouth, we are a stone’s throw from the beautiful Plymouth Sound and other stunning coastlines, estuaries & rivers within Devon & Cornwall. The club provides a busy year-wide programme and there is normally something for everyone.
Tamar Canoe Association
TCA is based at Jubilee Green, Saltash, Cornwall. All of our coaches are volunteers and dedicate their time for others to enjoy their sport. During the winter months members are welcome to join in pool sessions which are held throughout the winter (time table is normally released in September prior to the summer season ending). Whether you wish to improve your skills in general or practice Eskimo rolls, the warm water is welcoming. The club has social events throughout the year and every club member is welcome.
