This is one of our top selling inflatables, it can be paddled by 1 or 2 people and has the option of adding a 3rd seat to take a young passenger along. It is a popular choice for families and ideal for inland waterways or sheltered coastal locations. The Solar is fine for paddling on flat water such as lakes and estuaries but it is also at home on the sea, slow moving rivers and even gentle white-water up to grade 2.

The Solar is easy to paddle solo and is a great choice for anyone wanting to do combined backpacking and paddling trip.
 With a carrying capacity of 270kg there is plenty of capacity for two paddlers and a child or a whole load of kit.  With a hull weight of 16kg the Solar is easy to carry to a launch spot and can be transported to fairly remote waters in the supplied rucksack style waterproof backpack if you are feeling adventurous!

The Gumotex Solar is a super stable and fun tandem kayak which is built with Gumotex's tough Nitrilon material. The rigid construction makes the Solar paddle better than cheaper inflatable of this size. It is supplied with a tracking fin and its long waterline means it has good straight-line tracking characteristics.

Gumotex inflatables are made of their patented NITRILON® material composed of high strength PES fibre with an outer layer of synthetic rubber and inner layer of a mixture based on natural rubber. The material is highly resistant to abrasion, ageing and UV.
