The Perception Expression 14 and 15 are UK made mid length touring kayaks with stability that novices will appreciate and performance more experienced kayakers will enjoy. The 14 being slightly sleeker is ideal for smaller paddlers and the 15 has more volume so is better for larger paddlers or if you want more storage space for kayak camping trips. Both models are efficient to paddle and easily capable of covering plenty of miles on long days afloat. They are also ideal for skills development such as enhancing paddling techniques, learning assisted and self rescues as well as rolling.

The bow is designed to cut through chop and ride over groundswells with ease and they respond very well to edging so are fun to paddle in lively conditions as well as on calm waters. Rocker is gentle to enhance straight-line tracking as well as paddling efficiency.  You will find these kayaks to be sufficiently agile to explore fairly tight places along rocky coastlines and responsive enough for some rock hopping too. The cockpit is nicely outfitted with adjustable foot pegs and thigh braces, a comfortable seat and supportive back-band. Reflective safety deck lines are a nice touch and spare deck paddles can be mounted up front or behind the cockpit using the bungee deck lines along with some paddle britches.

The neutral hull design and predictable nature of the Expression 14 and 15 makes them ideal for touring on coastal waters, estuaries, lakes and gentle rivers. The retractable skeg is quick to deploy and very useful to enhance tracking performance in windy or lively conditions. There are bulkhead storage compartments fore and aft which provide enough space to take all you need for a few hours leisurely break on a day paddle or a week or so away on a camping adventure.
