The Perception Prodigy II 14.5 tandem touring kayak is a great choice for a family or couple looking for a versatile open kayak that will provide a drier ride and more storage than a Sit on Top. It offers plenty of space to take two adults and a pet or children out on the water along with a fair bit of kit! There is a bulkhead behind the cockpit to create a secure storage space accessed by a dual density hatch.

Roomy, comfortable and reassuringly stable the Prodigy is also an efficient kayak to paddle with a good turn of speed if needed. The large cockpit is outfitted with seats that have adjustable backrests and leg lifters to offer paddlers of a range of sizes all day comfort. We can supply an optional child's seat which is also designed to ensure they are as comfortable as the adults during a day on the water.

The Prodigy II 14.5 is a capable kayak for paddling on lakes, gentle rivers, estuaries or sheltered coastal waters. With a recommended max weight capacity of 280kg it can carry enough kit for two on a weekend camping trip or a solo paddler could easily load up with enough for a week of camping.
