Vertical Element Fara - Carbon Shaft, Glass Blades

The slightly downturned blade design suits high angle paddling styles, with better catch and clean exit for extra performance when you need reliable power from your paddle. The Touring-Lite blade construction is tough and keeps the swing-weight low for an effortless feel as you paddle. The Fara Glass performs well in lively and dynamic coastal waters and makes a brilliant choice for swell riding, surf paddling and rock hopping, as well as doing great for general cruising and touring paddling.

The Fara Glass features toughened epoxy pre-impregnated woven glass blades for efficient paddle strokes and power output. The dye-sublimated colour finish gives a very stylish look! A polyester fabric layer on the blades offer an extra armour coating for additional durability. The smooth dihedral blade face reduces blade flutter and allows for smooth linking of paddle strokes.

The 2-piece carbon shaft features 10cm of length adjustment and infinite blade feathering adjustment, all set via a corrosion-free nylon Kajak Sport shaft clamp. The shaft is ovalised/indexed on both sides for better grip and connection to the shaft. The carbon has a smooth ground finish for excellent grip even in wet hands. The carbon shaft provides a very stiff feel with direct contact with the water, so that maximum energy is translated into pushing your craft forwards.
