Kneeling thwarts are a popular upgrade for canoeists looking to progress their solo canoeing skills,  allow a more dynamic position in the canoe and allows for easy movement from side to side giving more contact with the canoe for control.

This kit includes oiled finish Kneeling Thwart, 6" bolts, washers, nuts plus 4" wooden shaped blocks.

The thwart measures 38" x 2 ¼ uncut with a ½" dip to the centre allowing cutting to length for positioning in most canoes. Standard uncut length of 38 inches (96.5cm).
