The Perception Triumph 13 is a versatile kayak with a design that combines stability with a good turn of speed, this makes it ideal for recreational touring on the coast, lakes or gentle rivers. It can also be outfitted with a wide range of accessories to make a great fishing kayak.

The Triumph 13 is faster and easier to paddle than most other sit-on-top kayaks on the market, it also has a longer cockpit so can also accommodate taller paddlers. The upswept flared bow and sleek hull ensures the Triumph 13 glides well, is efficient to paddle and will cut through chop and ride over ground swells with ease. The generously sized moulded rear storage well, along with the large oval front hatch and easy to reach centre hatch, provide plenty of storage options and allow sufficient capacity for overnight kit. Another great design feature is the moulded in child seat located just in front of the main seat. This enables you to take a small child out on safe waters to introduce them to kayaking.

If you are looking for a touring kayak that you can also use for fishing then the Triumph 13 is an excellent choice as can be seen in the video below of it being paddled off the Cornish coast. There are places to the rear of the seat for fitting flush rod mounts and either side of the cockpit you could add slide tracks. The raised console between the paddler's legs has rectangular recesses ideal for adding baseplates for a swivel mount rod holder or a fish-finder. The rear storage tank-well can take a gear crate such as the Railblaza Gear Hub or you could add one of the Feelfree Cooler Bags.

Most paddlers use the Triumph 13 as supplied but for the more adventurous a rudder kit is available to purchase separately. A rudder enhances performance of kayaks significantly in higher speed winds, strong cross currents and complex seas, this makes the rudder kit a great upgrade if you are doing long trips or paddling in choppy seas.
