Coastal or Freshwater Fishing Kayak

The Vibe Shearwater 125 comes packed with plenty of built-in fishing features and room to add more of your own to customise it to meet your personal requirements. At 12.5 ft it is quick on the water and offers plenty of stability. You will find this kayak is very capable in salt and fresh water and a great choice whether trolling a lure as you paddle, fishing from the seat or using it for stand-up casting.

The Vibe Hero Raised Seat has a metal frame with a mesh that will let any splashes drain straight through, it is also adjustable so you can get your position just right. The Freeflow footrests are adjustable and are used to control the rudder, you will also find hand steering controls beside the seat. There is a stand-up assist strap to help you get balanced if you want to stand and fish and the Gunwale Standing Pads and Noise Cancelling Deck Pads aim to minimise noise disturbance below water. If you want to add a fish-finder there is a removable electronics pod that can take all the relevant kit and there are 4 slidetracks for adding other accessories.

Supplied with a Versa tackle storage Pod that has a flip-up lid with magnetic tackle and tool holder. The Shearwater also includes a Vibe Gravity Rudder System which enhances manoeuvrability and can have a Bixpy electric Motor bolted onto it's base! Another upgrade to enhance performance would be to add the optional X-Drive Pedal System Kit - this is perfect for keeping your hands free to tackle up or play a fish while moving across deep or shallow water.

If you want to take it out for a paddle then slot in the Versa Pod, set the adjustable footpegs to the right length and off you go. If you want to go hands free pedal fishing with the optional X-Drive then it takes only a few minutes to swap out the Versa Pod and slot in the X-Drive. If you go for the Bixpy upgrade as well then you can also sit back and relax while the motor does the work for you!

Moving the Shearwater 125 around when off the water is easy with the Phantom Grip Carry handles which are semi-rigid so they don't trap your knuckles when lifting the kayak. Either side at the stern there are two 'Heavy Load Handles' on the underneath of the hull sides. These are a great help if you need to move your kayak around when it is loaded with gear or you have a crate full of fish on-board!
