The Viking Kayaks Profish 400 is the perfect kayak for those wanting a light-weight boat with all of the key features of a great angling kayak. This kayak is a great option for fishing on the UK coast, the efficient hull paddles well in various conditions, handling choppy waves and swell with ease and gliding nicely on flat water. A true all-rounder that will tick the boxes for the first time kayak angler wanting a great kayak or for the more experienced wanting a lightweight and well kitted out option.

At just over 13ft in length the Profish 400 is a mid sized angling kayak which has been developed to provide excellent stability with flat chines on the hull. The deck area has been ergonomically designed for greater comfort for paddlers of all sizes while still allowing the use of a variety of seating options for a truly custom fit. At just 30kg the Profish 400 is easy to car top and carry around.

The Profish 400 cuts through the water efficiently while allowing maximum stability for all paddlers from those new to the sport discovering kayaking for the first time to the expert targeting trophy fish in big water. There is plenty of storage for your fishing rods with 6 flush mount rod holders - 2 front facing and 4 rear facing.

Manufactured in New Zealand the Viking Profish range of kayaks have been designed to cope with any conditions, whether you are hugging the coastline, rock hopping or paddling through the chop the Profish 400 can handle it.

The Viking Kayaks Profish 400 comes with a Tackle Well Cover with built-in bait board. This opens up to a large tackle storage area. The rear tank well offers plenty more space for larger items of gear and can be used with the Viking Insulated Fish Bag or Chill Pod (sold separately). It also includes 2 x Railblaza StarPort HD's fitted behind the seat, and A StarPort at the Stern, making it easy to add Railblaza accessories.

The Profish 400 is rudder ready and you can add a rudder (sold separately) at any point. A rudder will significantly enhance performance in windy or choppy conditions, once you have tried paddling a kayak with a rudder there is no going back!

You can also add the removable TacklePod for the centre well (sold separately). This has a bait chopping board on the hinged lit which opens to access a large tackle storage area. It is also designed to be used as a removable self contained unit for your fishfinder, battery and transducer! Once you have set up the tackle pod with your electronics just pop it in your vehicle and when you are ready to launch it takes only a minute or so to load it into the kayak!
