Structural Adapter for DropRacks on a FixPoint System
All DropRacks Systems Come with 850mm connecting bars as standard, these 3 bar kits add structural support to your DropRacks System and are necessary for safe operation. However, for a Fixed Point system the standard 850mm doesn’t always line up, for these systems a DropRacks Connection Bar is recommended.
The DropRacks Connection Bar for Fix Points has been designed so you can adapt your DropRacks System to fit the distance between your Roofs fixing points, keeping safe and secure operation, coming as range lengths up to 1445mm to fit popular models such as the VW T5/6 Transporter between its 1st and 3rd fixing points.
If the offered lengths do not accommodate your fix point distance DropRacks suggest that the connection bars can be cut and re-drilled for mounting holes, this guide can be found on the DropRacks website (dropracks.com), however completing this would be at your own risk.
