Foldable TowBar Mounted Cycle Carrier
The Thule EasyFold XT is a fully folding tow bar mounted cycle carrier designed for convenient, compact storage and handling. The folding design is perfect for storing it in the boot of your vehicle and for taking a minimal amount space in the garage.
This cycle carrier has a built in number plate holder and rear lights which use a 13–pin power socket. We also sell the Thule 9906 adapter to convert vehicles with a 7 – pin power socket to fit this cycle carrier.
The Thule EasyFold XT has a high load capacity of up to 30kg per bike enabling you to transport E-Bikes/Pedelecs (electric assisted bikes) as well as regular mountain bikes and road bikes whilst the wheel holders can accommodate bikes with wheel of all sizes.
Fitting the EasyFold XT is simple thanks to the integrated carry handle and one handed coupling lever that has a low force mounting.
When you have mounted the carrier to your vehicles tow bar and have loaded on the bikes you can still access the boot thanks to Thule's SmartTilt pedal that angles back the carrier allowing for clearance for the rear door to open.
Your bikes are kept firmly in place via the detachable frame holders that feature Thule's Acu-Tight torque limiter knobs that click in place when the optimum torque has been reached whilst pump buckle straps keep the wheels secure.
For security the Thule EasyFold XT includes a lock to secure it to your vehicles tow bar and locks to secure your bikes to the carrier itself.
