The Swift Canoes Cruiser 14.8 is a super lightweight pack boat, using a comfortable kayak style seat and back rest with a canoe style hull. Designed to be fast and efficient it is perfect for paddlers wanting to cover distance or those looking for a boat to fitness train in on the water. Designed with an S-Bend gunwale to enable the paddler to get the most efficient paddle stroke by keeping the paddle perpendicular to the side of the Cruiser 14.8 and really driving it along. A fantastic amount of tumble-home ensures when paddling you never feel as though you are reaching to get to the water which allows more concentration on the perfect stroke. The hull of the Cruiser 14.8 features a pronounced bow to shed water with a fine entry line to keep a lovely efficient straight line, the rear has a rounded end which makes sure you track brilliantly even in windy conditions.

The Cruiser 14.8 is constructed of Kevlar Fusion which offers Swift best strength to weight ratio ensuring you're in the the lightest, most efficient pack boat.  Made by using a urethane resin system for top durability & longevity, along with with a thin exterior gel coat layer. This followed by an exterior layer of polyester with S-Glass and Kevlar cloth layered in with sandwiches of a foam cored ribbing system finishes off the Kevlar Fusions laminate superbly. The laminate is then fused with high impact, flexible urethane acrylate resin, that gets injected during a high pressure infusion process and produces the optimal dispersion and overall laminate consistency.

The good stuff doesn't stop there either, Swift have outfitted the Crusier 14.8 Pack Boat with a comfortable kayak style seat that uses a medical grade foam for the padding to really ensure the paddler stays comfortable. The back rest is adjustable in both the recline / support angle and has a moveable lumbar support cushion, the back rest even folds and secures flat for transport. To complete the outfitting Swift use adjustable foot rests, Cherry wood thwarts and handles, along with front and rear buoyancy tanks.
