The Hobie iTrek 9 is a lightweight inflatable for comfortable, gentle water cruising and ideal for a spot of fishing too!

With a fully rigged weight of only 16.8 kg / 37 lbs the Mirage iTrek 9 Ultralight inflatable is Hobie's lightest kayak. Easy to inflate and highly manoeuvrable, this is a great choice to get you on the water quickly and heading off for fun afloat. Powered by the efficient Mirage Drive GT with Kick-Up Fins there is no need to worry about accidentally pedalling over obstacles as the fins just kick back out of the way then drop into place again and off you go!

Like all the iTrek range this model has diagonal drop stitch construction providing superior rigidity and enabling the hull to be inflated to a very firm 10 PSI. As you will see on the video below the iTrek 9 has a highly effective intuitive rudder control, this enables you to navigate small waterways with ease. The ambidexterous steering handle can be mounted on either the left or right side of the seat. The raised seat is adjustable and lined with breathable monomesh fabric which drains very well should you get splashed and provides day long comfort.

The iTrek 9 comes with a convenient roller storage bag which is ideal for storage at home, in a car boot, campervan or aboard a boat. In the bag you will find a high-pressure hand pump and electric pump. If you are planning to travel abroad, then the lightweight package is a real advantage when flying.
