This is a touring kayak suitable for beginners and novices or those looking for a compact easy to paddle kayak that offers day long comfort. The Cockpit is large enough to be easy to enter and exit and includes thigh brace pads under the cockpit rim. The adjustable seat has thick ventilated padding with an adjustable backrest and leg lifter for under thigh support.

If you desire comfort, stability, and manoeuvrability in a boat that can navigate all gentle inland waterways and take you exploring along sheltered coasts then the Perception Carolina 12 is an ideal choice. This is a lightweight and reassuringly stable kayak so a great for beginners and experienced kayakers will appreciate its speed and agility. With dry storage in the bow and stern accessed by easy to open hatches there is sufficient capacity to pack enough kit so you can set off for whole day excursions or even overnight stays too! The keel line has e a very gentle rocker, just enough to make the Carolina manoeuvrable, this gives it great straight-line tracking performance so even an absolute beginner should have no difficulty paddling straight!

An optional rudder (sold separately) is also available for increased tracking and manoeuvrability  should you wish to go out in windy or choppy conditions.
