Composite version of P&H's top selling kayak
The Composite Virgo has a sleek hull which is more efficient and responsive on the water than the polyethylene Virgos which are P&H's current best-selling kayaks. If you want better than the best then the Virgo in a composite build is exactly that!
At 15ft (459cm) the Virgo is a compact but uncompromising kayak for paddlers looking for high performance on day trips or a few nights away. You will find the hull offers reassuring stability and provides plenty of speed and efficiency for short to medium trips. The well-defined carving rails and hard chines provides an instant response to your control moves with a precision you will appreciate. This makes it an ideal choice for exploring varied coastline environments whether that is on glass flat days or challenging complex waters.
The rear deck is low-profile for easy rolling and re-entry while the forward deck has enough volume and up-sweep to power over oncoming waves and minimise purling when riding downwind or landing in surf.
Choose a look that will make you stand out from the crowd by selecting from a wide range of colours, including metal flake options, and can combine separate colours for; deck, hull, cockpit, seams and graphics as well as deck lines and bungees. You also have the choice of six different build weights so you can match the weight and build materials to your kind of paddling from the Ultralight at just 16kg through to the Heavy Duty at 27kg. With a custom build you can design exactly the Virgo you want!
